Wright grew up in Clinton, Mississippi, and graduated from Mississippi College in 2025 with a degree in Biblical studies. During college, he had the opportunity to serve in the youth ministry at his church, and through this, he was able to see the Lord at work in ways both remarkable and perfectly unremarkable. This, paired with his time in RUF during college, helped to develop a passion for the work of ministry, and he hopes to find a way to serve the church full-time in the future.

Though an introvert at heart, he is a people person and loves swapping stories with strangers, cracking jokes with foodservice workers, and asking his baristas about their recommendations for at least 10 minutes before ordering anything. Wright loves good music, good coffee, and good weather, but he loves nothing like he loves a good story, and he can almost always be found hunting for one, whether in a conversation, a book, a song, or a video game.
