about AUSTIN

Austin was born and raised in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He graduated from James Madison University where he majored in Kinesiology. During his time at JMU, Austin met his wife, Jessi, through his involvement with RUF. They got married in May of 2018. From 2018-2020, Austin worked with RUF International at Georgia Tech while Jessi worked in Atlanta’s foster care system as a case manager. In 2020, they relocated to Orlando, FL, to pursue seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary. During seminary, they welcomed their son, Brooks, to the family. If given a free day, you'd likely find Austin spending time with his family, playing sports, exploring local ethnic restaurants, or yelling at a TV screen as his favorite sports teams disappoint him yet again.
