about travon

Travon Williams is from Warner Robins, GA. He attended the University of West Georgia. Travon arrived on campus as an unbeliever, but through an amazing campus ministry, Campus Outreach, he was able to see he was a sinner who needed to be saved by grace and needed Jesus to be his Lord and Savior. He became a believer on a beach in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. After graduating with a BBA in business, he had a unique path to ministry. He has worked various jobs, ranging from church intern to teacher. During his time as a middle school mathematics educator, he developed a passion for young people. He saw the need for them to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

Travon was a Campus Minister Assistant at Winston Salem Historic Black College in North Carolina, where he had the privilege of cultivating young men and young women in a unique way on a unique campus through the Scripture and the Gospel. He was able to create some lifelong bonds in a short period of time.

Travon is currently the Campus minister assistant at North Carolina Central University in Durham, a historically black college, where he prays that he is able to have the same impact by sharing the Gospel with young men and women in the beautiful city of Durham, NC. He currently attends Covenant Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing his M.Div.

In his free time, Travon enjoys listening to music, podcasts, watching low-budget films, reading and following the Atlanta Falcons, Duke basketball, the Oklahoma Sooners football, and any team Lebron James plays for.
