ABOUT SEAN

Sean grew up in New Jersey after immigrating from South Korea at the age of 13. After a couple of years at Baruch College in New York, he transferred to Kennesaw State University in Georgia, where he studied sociology. He also met his wife, Madeleine, at a church in Georgia where they served in the youth ministry together. They now live in Durham, NC. Sean works as the campus assistant at Duke RUF, and Madeleine studies at Duke's CRNA school.

Having met the Lord in his early twenties, Sean is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with college students. His favorite part about ministry is getting to hang out with students, whether it is grabbing a meal or playing basketball together! When not on campus, Sean and Madeleine love watching K-dramas and the NBA. They also love trying new coffee shops.
