Grant grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, and attended Florida State University. After graduating, he worked as an accountant in Tallahassee. In 2019, Grant felt the call to pursue pastoral ministry and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to attend seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary. While in Charlotte, Grant met his wife, Kristen, and he worked as a pastoral intern at West Charlotte Church. From there he moved to Norfolk to do campus ministry at Old Dominion University.

Grant loves running, 19th-century fiction, and any movie where something blows up. He loves all sports, but especially Florida State football and the St. Louis Cardinals. He and Kristen love Old Dominion and they are looking forward to getting the chance to meet you!
