about NIKO

Niko is originally from Toledo, Ohio, but grew up in Chelsea, Michigan. In high school, he did swimming and water polo, and also grew a strong desire to share the gospel. After graduating, he moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he attended the University of Michigan to study actuarial mathematics. He joined a Christian fraternity called BYX where he met several friends that were involved with RUF. Upon being introduced to RUF’s deep theology, ministry vision and culture of care, he was sold out for RUF. By his senior year, he had developed a longing for ministering to people relationally and committed to becoming an Intern with RUF. In the fall he will be heading to Purdue University. Niko is stoked to begin investing in relationships with students at Purdue and contributing to its outward facing culture of Christian community and fun. Niko loves movies, superheroes, riding his bike, and late-night Taco Bell runs with friends.
