ABOUT mike
Mike Wenzler grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. His wife, Lauren, originally from the Chicago area, earned her degree from the University of Kansas. Mike and Lauren spent their first years of marriage in Charlotte, where he earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary. His first call brought him back to Milwaukee to begin a new chapter with Reformed University Fellowship at his alma mater; they served there for 5 years. In 2018, the Wenzler family relocated to Fort Collins, CO, so Mike could serve as the RUF Campus Minister at Colorado State University. Leaving the campus in 2022, he became the Midwest and Mountains Area Coordinator covering 15 RUFs from Bozeman, MT, to Bloomington, IN. He's now RUF's Vice President of Recruiting, helping recruit interns, campus staff, and campus ministers from around the country.
The Wenzlers have 3 children - William (2013), Samuel (2015), and Eloise (2017) - who are successfully dominating their free time with sports and activities, and blessing them with joy beyond words. Lauren works full-time as an interior designer, sneaking in some bike rides, ski days, and walks with friends when she's able. Likewise, Mike is constantly active; he loves biking, skiing, hiking, using his power tools, and fixing anything broken.
