about MELANIE

Melanie attended Mississippi State where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a concentration in painting and a minor in psychology. Just a few of the many things she enjoys are laughing with friends, tomato sandwiches, sad songs with glitter-gel pen melodies, and playing outdoors in the sunshine! Melanie found RUF during her junior year and it was instantly the thing she was looking for. Her faith was stretched and strengthened because of RUF's welcoming environment and sound teaching of the Gospel. Ministry is something she's always enjoyed, and she is beyond honored have the opportunity to walk alongside students as they navigate the challenges of college. The city and people of New Orleans have always held a dear space in her heart, and Melanie is over-the-moon excited to serve at RUF Tulane!
