about LESLIE

Leslie was born and raised in Tupelo, Mississippi. She grew up attending church in Tupelo, and getting involved with RUF in college was something she looked forward to. RUF at Belhaven provided her an incredible community of friends and allowed her to grow in her faith much more than she expected. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science in 2020 from Belhaven University. After college, she served for three years as an RUF intern at Western Kentucky University, where she continued to love and feel a call towards ministry. After serving alongside each other in RUF, Leslie and her husband, Peyton, were married in December 2023. While completing her Master of Arts in Counseling at RTS Jackson, Leslie served as an RUF ministry fellow at Belhaven. She is excited to continue serving the students at Belhaven in the role of campus staff! Leslie enjoys running, reading, making (and drinking) coffee, and she and Peyton love to host board game nights with friends!
