Alec Moyer

Alec and Rosie spent much of their childhoods in Lafayette and have a deep connection to the area. He has a Bachelor's Degree in political science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. After serving 6 years in the Army, Alec was called into the ministry and began work on a Master of Divinity degree (M.Div) through Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. In 2016 they moved back to Lafayette to support a new church. They have four children, Mary-Ann ('11), Magruder ('14), Hays ('16), and John ('20). Alec also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Alec and Rosie are excited to work with RUF at UL Lafayette not only because of their love for the Lafayette area but also because of the unique opportunity to walk alongside college students as they come to know Jesus. Rosie was especially impacted by RUF during her college years. Both desire to help students know Jesus and themselves as they explore who they are and make decisions that will shape the rest of their lives.
