about jungmi

Jungmi grew up in South Korea and studied journalism before earning a Master of Arts in theological studies from Covenant Seminary, where her love for helping others know God and His Word was further shaped and deepened. She met her husband, Will, while he was teaching in Korea, and they have now been married for 15 years and have three children together. Their family moved to Clarksville so they could serve with RUF at Austin Peay State University.

Over the years, Jungmi has volunteered in RUF women’s ministry and led Bible studies, and she especially loves getting to know college students and walking alongside them in their faith. She enjoys opening their home to students, mentoring women, and creating spaces where students feel known and welcomed. Outside of ministry, Jungmi enjoys cooking and trying new foods, working out, reading, and browsing TJ Maxx. She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of what God is doing at Austin Peay and considers it a joy to walk with students as they grow in knowing Christ.
