Jake Willeman grew up in Lebanon, NH. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire before moving to DC to do the Fourth Fellows program. After his fellows program, he served as a pastoral intern at Fourth Presbyterian Church while working toward his M.Div. from RTS DC. Jake recently married his wife, Laura, and they have made Charlottesville home while she completes her medical residency. He is thrilled to serve with RUF at the UVA and to walk alongside students as they explore life, faith, and the gospel.

In his free time, Jake enjoys just about anything that involves mountains and adventure—backcountry skiing, mountain biking, ultrarunning, mountaineering, rock climbing, etc. He also loves writing and playing music, savoring a great cup of coffee, and sharing life's adventures with Laura.
