Isaac grew up in Sydney, Australia, as an aspiring golfer, but his plans changed when he came to Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN, where he met the Lord during his freshman year. This encounter set him on a path toward theological study at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Soon after finishing his Master of Divinity degree, Isaac married Shelby. A Hattiesburg, MS native, Shelby is a proud Ole Miss RUF alum (go Rebs!), an outdoor girl at heart, and a book and coffee addict.

In Isaac’s free time, he enjoys rock climbing, writing in cursive with a fountain pen, perfecting recipes, and—on occasion—rage-baiting his opponents on chess.com.
