about gabe

Gabe grew up in Denver, taking advantage of the mountains while backpacking and hiking. He then went to Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, studying psychology and philosophy. While at school, he worked as an elementary after-school tutor and a behavioral therapist. He escaped Michigan winters and returned to Denver after finishing at Calvin, and worked at the Denver Botanic Gardens for a year.

He is excited about the unexpected opportunity to serve at Colorado School of Mines and can't wait to get on campus! In his free time, Gabe is searching for people to play sports with, learning to play the piano, and listening to R&B and vocal jazz. Recently, he has enjoyed discovering and exploring the Old Testament references made by Jesus in his teachings.
