Emmy Johnston

Emmy is from the small town of Travelers Rest, SC, and graduated from Samford University with a degree in Special and Elementary Education. She began attending RUF at Samford during her freshman year and saw the Lord use his people to do transformative work in her community. While at Samford, Emmy was encouraged by her RUF minister to consider a career in vocational ministry because of her love for intentional relationships. The Lord used her student teaching internships and work at summer camp to cultivate that desire further, and the internship was the perfect next step. She is very excited to serve as an intern at Ole Miss and see God work in new ways! Emmy enjoys spending time outside, going for runs, playing pickleball, and can’t resist a good cup of coffee!
