about EMILY
Emily spent her childhood in Iowa, before moving to Peachtree City, Georgia, where she considers herself to be from. She graduated from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) in 2020 with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. During her time at UGA, Emily was heavily involved in RUF, where she grew greatly in both faith and community under the counseling and teaching of her campus minister and interns at UGA. After graduation, she felt called to pursue ministry, and served as an intern with RUF at JMU (Go Dukes!) for two years before beginning her current role of Campus Staff in 2022. Emily is currently ~slowly~ pursuing her Masters in Counseling, and in her free time, she can be found reading a good book, hanging at a local coffee shop, or jamming in the kitchen as she cooks or bakes her latest treat. She is a sucker for a good caramel iced coffee, and a lover of all forms of potatoes. Most of all, Emily is a lover of both Jesus and people, and she is always down for a heartfelt or theological conversation, so be sure to hit her up for either!
