about CLARE

Clare graduated from the University of Georgia where she found meaningful community in RUF. After serving three years as an RUF intern at the Savannah College of Art and Design as well as at her alma mater, she and her husband moved to Portland, Oregon. She attends Western Seminary in Portland in pursuit of a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling that integrates Christian theology with clinical counseling skills. During her time in seminary, Clare is now serving as an intern care assistant through the RUF fellows program. Knowing how much she needed an outside support person during her internship years, she felt strongly called to be that for others. Her hope is that interns feel supported enough to continue in ministry for many years and well equipped to show up for their students.
