Juan Rodriguez

Juan was born in Queens, New York to Colombian immigrants. He eventually moved to Waxhaw, North Carolina, just south of Charlotte. He attended NC State University where he became a Christian, and was immensely blessed by the ministry of RUF. Juan graduated from NC State and later had the privilege of being one of the RUF Interns at UNC Chapel Hill. After two years at Chapel Hill, Juan attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte where he earned his Master of Divinity before accepting the call to be the Campus Associate at UNC Charlotte with RUF.

Juan is married to his lovely wife, Kelsey, and together they have a sweet daughter nicknamed EG. Juan has a variety of interests. He loves any sport, but particularly soccer, ultimate frisbee, spikeball, disc golf, formula 1, and running. He also enjoys anything involving the great outdoors (camping, rock climbing, hiking, and backpacking), he and Kelsey are hoping to hit every national park in the US. He also enjoys taking it easy by reading, playing board games and video games, and watching documentaries, movies, and TV shows. Juan couldn't be more excited to be at UNCC connecting students to Christ and the local church.
