Cayla (Sherrell) Ball

Cayla was born and raised in Northern Virginia, and graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.S. in Physics and Sustainability in 2016. While a student at W&M, she heard the gospel preached and saw it lived out through her peers that helped her take ownership of her faith and relationship with Jesus. Through the relationships with her own interns and campus staff, and the hunger to continue growing in God's word, Cayla decided to pursue the RUF internship at JMU, followed by the Campus Staff role beginning in 2018. At JMU, she met and married her husband, Michael, in 2020 and had their first daughter, Priscilla in 2022. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Divinity at RTS DC (very slowly), and chasing her toddler (not as slowly). You can probably find Cayla hanging out at a local coffee shop, ready to play a game or talk to you about Formula 1!
