Catherine Frederickson was adopted from China when she was around two years old. She first moved to Maryland and eventually landed in Huntsville, Alabama, where she grew up before heading off to college. She graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in Chemistry. During her sophomore year, she got plugged into RUF and quickly grew to love it. Through hearing the gospel preached each week and being part of a community that showed her the love and grace of Christ, she came to truly understand the grace of God, which transformed her life. Now she wants to share that same grace and love with the people around her and is excited to see how God will work through her as an intern at UTK!

If she is not talking to people, you can find her playing frisbee, basketball, or going on a hike. She also loves reading a good book or watching movies with friends!
