Ava was born, homeschooled, and brought up in the faith in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she first developed a love for reading, the outdoors, and her reformed Christian faith. This love grew throughout her classical Christian education in middle and high school. For college, she moved to Tuscaloosa to study kinesiology at the University of Alabama. Throughout her four years there, Ava participated in RUF, undergraduate research, and international travel, and she found a home-away-from-home in her local church.

Ava is excited to help usher the nations into the local church as she stays in Tuscaloosa as the RUF-International intern!
