Adriana Fernandez

Adriana (preferably pronounced in Spanish) is thrilled to begin serving as an RUF Intern at the University of New Mexico (UNM) in August 2025. Having come to faith during her junior year of college at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Adriana knows firsthand how transformative these years can be. RUF played a pivotal role in her spiritual growth, and she would love nothing more than to pour into the very ministry that poured into her. She looks forward to walking alongside students at UNM—celebrating their highs, supporting them through their lows, and being present in all the everyday moments in between.

Adriana enjoys listening to music, being a fashionista, and having deep conversations. She loves watching Instagram reels of creative, maximalist home decor (she had to say goodbye to TikTok) and is never without her headphones and a snack. She also has a heart for hospitality and finds joy in using her space to bring people together for sincere fellowship.

More than anything, Adriana is eager to experience God’s work in a new place and in new ways. Having spent most of her life in the Midwest, moving to New Mexico will be an adventure of faith—one that she embraces with trust, excitement, and gratitude.
