ABOUT ADIN
Adin is from Charlottesville, Virginia, and attended William Monroe High School in nearby Greene County. During his senior year of high school, a teacher began asking him thoughtful questions about Christianity, which challenged him to examine and defend what he believed. That experience sparked a deep interest in Christian apologetics and a desire to understand and articulate the Christian faith more clearly. Adin went on to attend James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. During college, he became deeply involved in ministry and community life. He lived in a Young Life house all four years and served as a Young Life leader for two years. Those years were formative for him, as he built close friendships and developed a growing passion for relationships and sharing the gospel with others. While at JMU, Adin also helped start a chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi (BYX), a Christian fraternity. Throughout college, Adin developed a strong desire to build meaningful relationships and to understand people’s stories and perspectives. He loves hearing how God is at work in others’ lives and walking alongside people in their faith journeys. During his senior year of college, Adin was introduced to the Presbyterian Church and quickly grew to love its theology, community, and emphasis on thoughtful engagement with Scripture. Through this church, he was also introduced to RUF International.
Adin enjoys thoughtful conversation, learning about different perspectives, staying active, and playing music. He is excited to serve with RUF International and looks forward to building relationships with international students while sharing the hope of the gospel.
