about DAViD

David was born and raised in Colorado Springs. He graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Colorado in 2008. After stints in sports broadcasting and parachurch campus ministry, David attended Redeemer Seminary in Dallas and graduated with a Master of Divinity (MDiv) in 2016. David went on to plant the RUF-International ministry at UT Dallas in 2018. The five years he and his family spent at UTD were wonderful years interacting with many students from around the world. David and his family moved to San Diego to start the RUF-I ministry at UCSD in 2023. They are loving Southern California and the international students at UCSD!

David and Meredith have been married for over fifteen years and have two daughters (Evelyn and Norah). David enjoys basketball, staying active, being outside, eating international cuisine, and spending time with his family.
